Abebe Holdings is a young, vibrant and ambitious company that was started by a single venture in a small convenience store by Michael Abebe in 1997.

The convenience store was located on what was then known as Bankhead Highway. With not a dollar to his name, he persuaded some friends and family members to invest in his new venture. He signed a lease on the store, however; he did not have enough funds to stock the store.

He could be seen walking up and down Bankhead Highway in the dead heat of the summer carrying bags of ice to keep his one cooler of sodas cool. From that point on, people in the neighborhood sensed his desire to succeed and frequented his store often.

When the owner realized how profitable the store had become, he gave Michael one week to come up with enough funds to purchase the store, or he would rescind his lease. Michael did everything that he could do to come up with the money, and when the closing date arrived, he sat at the table smiling and decided from that day forth that he would never have another landlord. He would own his own property, from then on out. From there, Michael purchased a single home, renovated it and sold it.

Today, Abebe Holdings is the parent company of Rosewood Funding, Rosewood Properties, Premium Parking, Abebe Westside Development, Abebe Homes and Hagmch Construction.

      Abebe Homes is an in-town residential development company that has been in existence since 1997. Abebe       Homes has renovated and built over 200 projects in the metro-Atlanta area.

      Rosewood Properties, builds new single and multi-family residential neighborhoods in Atlanta.

      Rosewood Funding provides loans to those individuals that wish to invest in rehabilitation properties, land       and lots.

      Abebe Westside Development specializes in commercial, industrial, and convenience store developments.

      Premium Parking is an event parking company, which focuses on providing premium parking for events held       at the Georgia Dome and Georgia World Congress Center.

Abebe Holdings has evolved from operating one convenience store to renovating and building new homes, apartment complexes, commercial and industrial spaces and developing gas stations and convenience stores. Abebe Holdings has accomplished many achievements in its first ten years, however; this is just the beginning as we continue to pursue our goal of revitalizing Atlanta!
